£1 1816 Winchcomb Bank (Outing 2369d) Number 319

This is an interesting note. The Bank existed from 1796 and failed in 1819. The bankruptcy notification is not stamped as is common in most Provincial Notes but handwritten on the reverse. This took place at the  ‘Royal Hotel’, Cheltenham. This is a good offer for a note that is worth around £180.
