Interesting note. The Bristol Bullion Bank existed from 1811 until 1825. This note is one of the last and is rarer than other similar notes. The Bankruptcy Stamp comes from the ‘Bush Tavern’ in Bristol, Corn Street which was the meeting place of the Law Society. The inn was mentioned in Dickens’ work, ‘The Pickwick Papers’, Chapter 38.
