£1 Bank of Scotland – Ref BA 99a – 1st March 1955 A0855168 (GVF) New Ship Motif on Reverse

This is a very interesting note. The Bank of Scotland took over the Union Bank in 1955, so in recognition of this, the back of the note has the ship motif that was present in the Union Bank banknotes. This is the First prefix so the note is rarer and a slice of Scottish historical banking. Priced low for this note.
