This is a ‘Holy Grail’ banknote. The First 10/- Banknote of the Britannia Series and what a superb note this is. The First Run is always hard to find and in this very high grade, even more rare. Light central crease. The embossing is ‘proud’ and the watermark strong and clear. It is an excellent banknote. Under the intense magnification I see very light, tiny, creasing on corners which suggest a light mounting in the past (NOT with gum). The note has been kept in superb condition and on the edges there are no loose fibres or signs of handling. GEF is the correct grade.
