This is a slabbed £50 Gogarburn produced for the opening of the Edinburgh HQ by the Queen in 2005. 500 of the slabs were commissioned but around half were damaged in the process so just over 200 remained to be given to ‘dignitaries’. These are now exceedingly rare. Only 20,000 Gogarburn notes were produced so this is an eminently collectible note in the original slab. The note is perfect and as a piece of banking history it is nigh unique. It is on offer at a very competitive price, with free Special Delivery postage……superb and very rare indeed.
