Beware of the Washers and Pressers!! Some banknote sellers wash and press their notes to improve the grading and make more money! Whyen you buy a banknote from a seller or at auction it important to be clear about the quality. Never be aftraid to ask a seller if the note has been ‘doctored’ in any way as it is your money that is spent when buying notes. Washing can ‘improve’ the grading but the note becomes harder to the touch and is oten a good indication that t has been cleaned. Notes can be pressed to remove or ‘iron out’ creases. Sometimes this is done naturally through storage. This T20 is pressed lightly but the seller has not atempted to improve the grading to AEF – it is VF, correctly so. Gang canny when buying your notes!
