British Banknotes and the New Allotment

I have two large allotments. One is an orchard that produces apples in abundance and the other supplies vegetables for our table. I have taken over the ‘jungle’ allotment next to the vegetable plot. The previous occupant was a shadowy figure only seen in the evenings. He died and it has taken over twenty of us the last two weekends to clear the site full of baths, barrels, bikes, a jacuzzi, and so much rubbish. Steptoe and Son. Sometimes a banknote collection can become cluttered and ‘all over the place’. Time perhaps to re-organise the banknotes and catalogue them. A tidy collection can be like a pruned orchard or ordered vegetable ploy….a thing to behold, admire and enjoy.
