There is an increasing interest in collecting banknotes. Prices at recent auctions have shot up by some way and it is clear there are more people buying notes than ever before. It seems to me that what begins as a ‘little interest’  can develop from a hobby to a real passion. Each collector develops his/her particular area of interest.
