St Johnstone, my football team, were beaten in the Scottish Cup by Kelty Hearts. It was a day of disaster and a miasma of despondency now settles over Perth. All things pass but this is one of our worst ever defeats, a year after winning the Scottish Cup. There can be disappointments when outbid on a note you really want at auction. However, another note will come along one day. Perhaps the missing note is on my website, so have a browse and perhaps, the sadness of any past disappointments may be assuaged.
