Two days ago my wife and I stood in awe at a kingfisher perched on a bridge over a small brook. Every minute it would dive in and come back with a small fish in its beak. The iridescent blue and orange of the bird was caught in the light of a wintry sun. What a spectacular show just for us! Over the years you build up a collection and sometimes when you look through what you have it is amazing to see the quality and quantity you have built up over time. Moreover, there are some Uncirculated notes which have proud embossing and a sheen  that, like the kingfisher, really look utterly beautiful.
