British Banknotes and Balzac who said, ‘Behind Every Great Fortune is a Crime’.

Balzac was a prolific novelist who died in France in 1851. He wrote over eighty novels, was addicted to coffee, and my favourite quotation of his is this, ‘Behind every great fortune is a crime.’ How true today of the mega rich who have so much power in our world and society. The criminal means of obtaining money and power are all to apparent and these ‘criminals’ are often seen as respectable and people to imitate. Banknote collecting will never bring in a fortune but the value of notes will increase if bought wisely, so if you need any advice, any valuations, do contact me. You will not make a fortune but there will be no crime, just a bit a pleasure and possibly, a financial reward.
